How do I study for FINALS?!

Okay so I’m a freshman, my finals are next week and I’m stressed out. I try and study but I always forget everything. I’m not used to this studying for finals since I really don’t know how. I never studied in middle school since there were only English, Science and Math I had to take. But I have to take 7 now! Please help me! Any study tips?! I mostly need help with Earth Science and Geometry. These are my harder classes.

For me, getting started is the worst part. Eliminate all distractions which is usually the internet for me. Then I choose somewhere to study that is not comfortable, so no studying on your bed where you can fall asleep but sit down at a desk. Personally, I like to listen to music while I study though that might distract others. I always bring with me snacks and drinks to keep me awake and “entertained” while studying.

For the actual studying part, you’ve got to find out what works best for you. Are you a visual person? Auditory? For myself, I find that the information best sticks in my head when I rewrite it all down. I will spend time with my textbook and taking down all the main points and formulas making sure they are nice and neat. I hate reading from computer printed text, so no matter what, I always have to have hand write notes. This might work for me but might not for you, you’ll have to experiment and find out.

I am a Auditory person! I took this test about that a couple weeks ago lol. That’s works best for me to. But I have so much notes and everything. I hate studying the wrong thing and memorizing the information that doesnt even end up on there. How can I be able to study and keep a lot of information in my brain?!
