How can I stop a scab on a tattoo?

If the scab has already started to form, is there a way that I can stop it in its tracks? Or is it best to just let nature run its course?

Answer #2

Let nature run its course. Tattoos will peel and in some parts scab. As long as you don’t scratch or somehow manage to prematurely pop the scab off, you should be okay. It will heal up on its own. Trust me. Both of my arms are covered in tattoos.

You’re suppose to let it scab. The scabbing process removes the excess ink and let’s the ink in ur skin get trapped in there. My friend peeled her tattoo and now it looks like garbage and needs to be redone.
