Spunk Ransom?

OK, what is the meaning behind Spunk Ransom? I mean, I know that Rob Pattz said that thats what he wanted his nickname to be or something like that but my fellow twilighter friends say that there’s another meaning behind it. Is there? If so, please tell me.

well people where calling him RPatz ( liek robert pattinson but shorter) well in a MTV interview he said he didnt like his name and that his nickname his fans had given him (RPatz) sounded like an atiacid. haha =]

so he said, “well I would like my name to be like… Spunk! and well there is a girl named Ransom, so uuuhm, Ransom Spunk! wait no, Spunk Ransom!”

and the rest is history =]

It’s his nickname.

In an MTV Twilight Tuesday interview, Robert Pattinson denounced his God given name and any alterations of said name, thereof. Just saying no! to the the lovingly bestowed netspeak name of rpattz, Pattinson claimed to only answer to the name of Spunk Ransom henceforth.

I do know that in England (where Pattinson is from), “spunk” is a crude name for sperm.
