Spray tans

Do spray tans turn you orange? And how long do they last. I’m really pale and tanning out side just doesn’t seem to work!

Depends on the spray tan. There are also tanning lotions. I have Johnson’s Holiday Skin (the light to normal one) and it is a little on the orange side but it stays a relatively natural colour aslong as you don’t apply it more than every other day. Dove Summer Glow is apperently really good but I haven’t tried it. I got my best friend L’Oreal Expertise NutriSummer (the normal to dark one) and it looks really natural and gives a good shade but apperently it goes orange if you apply it more than every other day. Apperently the new dry mist spray from Garnier Ambre Solaire is really good and also Garniers BodySummer/SummerBody lotion. If you are really pale then you are better off using those tinted body lotions (Johnsons do one) which build up gradually to add a bit of colour. If you are naturally pale then don’t try and go too dark all at once because it will look false. Being fair-skinned is actually just another ‘look’ anyway and you can work with that in the styles and colours you choose for clothes, make-up, hair etc. It’s more about what suits how are you naturally then trying to fit in with an ideal.

they dont turn you orange unless you do it really heavily. and they last for about 2 months depending on how strong the spray was.
