How much have you spent on headphones?

I used to be like most people that buy an Ipod or expensive MP3 player and they end up using the headphones that come with it. Then when they break I used to just buy something cheap. Not anymore. One day I was browsing the web and found out that there are professional earbuds called earphones. Like the Ultimate Ears brand. So I bought the $399 dollars Triple.Fi. http://funadvice.com/r/3k4vhf1udt. I only paid $188 because I bought them used. Each earbud has three speakers inside for bass, midrange and treble. I was so amazed. You hear songs like they were meant to be heard. You hear so many things that are missing when you use regular headphones. Some you don’t want to hear. Like when AC/DC vocalist sings you hear his lungs wheeze or you may hear somebody in the back say something. Then I came upon the Monster Turbine Pro Copper, http://funadvice.com/r/3k4vhf1uja. They are so much better than my Triple.Fi that I ended up selling the triple.fi on ebay. Again I didn’t pay $399 for my copper’s. Dell had a price mistake and I managed to get for $175 before they corrected their mistake. Be warned. Once you hear real musicians headphones, you will not want anything less.

Im pretty cheap and thrify…we buy our headphones from the local flea market for twenty bucks…they look cool and they work just as good as the expensive ones. I just dont see the point in spending way more when you can get something cheaper that works exactly the same.

Answer #2

If you really get to hear the ultimate ears. You will not want to take them off! lol. Ultimate ears make the earphones that rock stars use. See the gallery for the ones that they make for bands like Metallica or Beyonce. You can get your own customs but they are over a thousand dollars. http://funadvice.com/r/3k4viunl13

Moved from Beauty & style (are headphones really “beautiful” or “stylish”?) to Shopping..

Remember you can choose the category for your questions, and you get points for picking the right category.

Answer #4

Thanks! I will remember to pick the category. I didn’t even look at that.
