Well I do have other things already under the tree for her, I wanted to get her a limo ride to a day spa package then take her out for a night of fun. I would feel pretty stupid to get this from another source, and I would think she might get mad at me, am I wrong?

Maybe you are right, a limo on the town would be fun, go to dinner then dance the rest of the night.

The gift is definitely thoughtful and I know I wouldn’t be upset if the money went back into my business, but the fact remains that it is something from her business. She does have access to those services already if she pleases, I’m assuming? So though the gift is definitely nice, I’d say not to go for it.

Why not take the money you’d be spending at the spa, and give her a beautiful piece of jewelry at dinner instead? Perhaps a bracelet or something? Or if your area has something special coming up which you can buy tickets for, maybe get her a ticket to go with you there?

Well I would agree with you, but as a business owner of a spa…we never make time on the schedule for any services, because we don”t want to take up the time slot. But if I pay for there service or at least pay for the employee’s pay then I don”t feel guilty about if I lost a paying customer.
