What is so special about a designer brand?

A lot of them are better quality. Not all, but a lot.

Besides them using better quality than a cheaper brand, nothing really. I don’t buy into the whole designer brand thing. Some of them, you would expect better quality and you don’t even get that. I can find clothes with good quality and for less than half the price. When you buy designer brand you are buying the brand and the logo, that’s what costs so much.

Well personally I’m just as happy with all my clothes as long as they look good and fit right. But my hollister shirts have held up better then my tshirts from walmart. Basically its quality and by wearing name brand it makes you look like you have more money. Imagine owning the most beautiful house in your state. Everyone would be jelouse, and think your so rich when you may only have a sleeping bag in it.

NOTHING. Something has to be expensive, so brands are. It sucks.

More times than not, they’re are just buying the brands for the name not for the quality.

There’s more to that, i think. Depends on the brand. but all Designer brands have great quality, so if you wanted to buy a bag that could last a long time, designer bags are the must-gets. Designs are great (usually) so people like them of course. And then there’s the name, like mentioned above.
