My friend is going to get married and she needs advice in picking the souvenir for the guests since most souvenir here is not that useful like key hanger.
A common practice in England (I am not sure about anywhere else), is to make little puches of sweets. Get a small circle of net and a circle of a thicker fabric, put a few sweets (about 8 per guest?) in the centre and bunch the top of the fabric together around it and tie with a ribbon. The guests can eat them while waiting for dinner, if hungry, or take them away if they want for a nice treat later. I am not sure if you know of the sweets 'Love Hearts', but if you type 'personalised love heart wrappers' into eBay then you can get 100 packs or so for £5- you could get the date of the wedding and their names printed on them, so they are special.
A nice fan, perhaps printed with the name of bride and groom and date of the wedding, is also nice for if it will be warm. Or you could give everyone some blowing bubbles in tiny cannisters that look like champagne bottles- you can get them lots of places :)
A pretty bookmark, shaped like the theme of the wedding (a leaf if they have lots of flowers and nature, a snowflake if it is a winter wedding etc) could also be nice, if a little more expensive. do you mean to her wedding party or the guests that are coming to the wedding? If you mean her bridal party then i would say a necklace that goes along with her theme, lets say her theme is winter, then each woman ould get like a snowflake necklace or pendant to remember the day. Everyone occasionally drinks some wine or some form of alcohol & its a cute gift...I sure made use of it as many others. If I got remarried I would prob do the same, comes in handy!
well then she would want to get something cheaper, on the website i gave you there were lots of cute ideas like the heart shaped mesuring spoons that said "love beyond measure" and then how about a little recipe for a love potion to go with it? That would be cute and give each guest a little laugh :)
Have a photographer present at the wedding to take pictures of them and insert them on your wedding themed frame/key ring/coffee cup etc. Like when you come of from those roller coaster rides. Lol.
