What are some songs that can relate to the themes and events of the book "A Seperate Peace" by John Knowles?

I’m supposed to make a photo presentation with the song (Or it could just be a soundtrack) and need a good song that could fit with the mood of the book. I want to imagine it sort of like a movie trailer.

I love that book! It’s been a while since I read it, but I remember that Gene and Finny were close friends. Moreso than their close friendship, I think the novel is really about Gene’s struggle to deal with betraying his best friend in a moment of anger and jealousy. He even comes back to the school to see the place where his best friend was hurt and killed. I think the novel is pretty dark, so I would stick with that tone.
