My 5 week old puppy again his mom past so ok he is always biting his paws scraching himself and sneezing is this normal or what?
I had went to the pet shop in town and my shadow does the same thing from time to time. The vet confirmed it. Some animals if they bite their feet a lot, it can indicate a food allergy. Have your pet checked at the vet to also confirm it. I put shadow on a dog food that was grain free. Any pet shop carries it. several kinds as a matter of fact. They will be able to help choose the best for your little guy. But you want to be careful of hot spots as well I lost my husband last year to cancer and shadow was there at his feet when it happned. She developed hot spots. Real itchy and then they scab up. She had them from head to tail. You can get a medication for them at kmart walmart etc. And I found if applied with a q-tip it works better. It is called sulfodine. And the vet also said for the itching I could give 1/4 of the childrens dose of childrens benydryl. Liquid only. And I used a baby dropper to give that to her. And she is doing fine. Hot spots left untreated can lead to death. I also bathed her regularly not to much it can harm him, and cleaned the spots gently to remove the scabs. Good luck to you and hope this was helpful
No it's not...it sounds like an allergy to me...especially the biting or chewing on his paws and toes, and the itching...
Be sure to mention this to the Vet when you take him in for his shots.
