What is medroxyprogesterone?

It’s found in birth control pills.

Don;t have my drug book in front of me —but looking at the name and seeing progesterone and medroxy—I believe it’s Medrol but don’t quote me until I can get to my book,
Medrol is a steroid, have you been really sick lately and just can’t get rid of what you have?? that;s more than likely why it was prescribed. I’ll be at my drug book in a few and recheck that for you ok? If you haven’t gotten an answer back in about 30 min then funmail a reminder, ok.?
