They look so much more airy than wearing shorts?
Kilts arent an american tradition or something thats seen as the "norm" in the states. It in no way means you cant rock a kilt or skirt down the streets if you wanted too, theres no law saying you cant. Youll get some looks and stares, but who cares. I get looks all the time in my small town for the way i look and my tattoos, it doesnt stop me from expressing myself. I think thats the big problem with people in general, worrying too much about what others think instead of just being themselves.
I'd accept it if a man wore a kilt and i'm from The States, so obviously not everyone feels the same way about everything, that's what happens when people think for themselves and form their own opinions.
I would love to wear kilts, they would be so comfy, but I believe it's acceptable only in Scotland to wear kilts or skirts for men. I'm in India, people would laugh at me if I wore kilt or skirt!
In USA people are wearing kilts you can review cnn convince people to wear kilts instead of pants http://money.cnn.com/2016/07/07/smallbusiness/kilts-utilikilts-btm/index.html
I'm scottish and so is one of my uncles, he went to a scottish wedding where all the grooms men wore kilts, had those little side purse things, and their kinives. :)
Sadly enough, judgmental people are everywhere. It's part of human nature. It annoys the hell out of me, but I can't deny I judge too.
This is the problem, in the US, they are such judgmental people, to the point of being, all I can come up with is square.
Well I think they would be very airy, and I have some Irish in me. Next time I am on vacation I am going to get me one.
It's the whole masculinity image. Kilts are often seen as skirts, and society tends to view skirts as feminine.
I think it should be! There is nothing wrong with a fella wearing a kilt. Fellas in kilts are sexy! : )
because this is not scotland, this is America lol
