Smashed Toe!!

I samshed my toe skating earlier, Its kinda hard to walk, wht do you think I should do??

Answer #1

Well, you could go to the hospital and get it checked out - recommended if you can’t move it or the skin or toenail had burst… Or you can just tough it out and wait until it heals.

Answer #2

go to the docter!

I smashed my toe in phys. ed. when I was a freshmen in high school a few years ago, and it broke it! There isn’t any surgery that can be done if it is broken, but in the future you may start to have a problem with an ingrown toenail, which will require a surgery. I think I had the surgey three times before it worked. A podiatrist will be able to fix you right up.

Answer #4

go to the doctors! if it dosent heal properly you will be left with a funky toe. and it will always hurt if it dosent heal good.

I broke my collarbone when I was like 10 and now 6 years later it still sticks out a bit and hurts if I put heaps of weight on it. because it didnt heal properly.

Answer #5

put something like ice or a frozen bag of peas in a cloth, hold it against your toe and get someone to take you to the hospital its easy to end up breaking or fracturing your toes, especially from skating and if this is the case the sooner you get there the better so they can get the bones to heal back properly

Answer #6

If you just did it today, then keep ice packs on it to keep the swelling down. If it happened yesterday so that you think it has already swelled as much as it is going to, soak your foot, 30 minutes at a time, in warm water, with epsom salt if you have it, a couple of times per day. That should make it feel better and help the swelling go down.

Also, wear slippers or oversize shoes in order to give the toe a break from unnecessary pressure.

If you think you may have broken it, go to the doctor.

    I hope you do not take offense,
    To that that's gone before;
    'Tis only that it's my two-cents,
    And not one penny more. §;o)
