Would it be smart for me to straighten my afro hair?

‘I am not sure many people on here even know anything about hair’ There are hairdressers on here cough lol

Have you had it relaxed, Im not that knowledgable when it comes to afro hair. But I’m pretty sure you would be better of having it relaxed and then straighten it when its needed.

as long as you use heat pretect spat and that i dont see how it wont hert to straiten it as long as you look after it. x

Well I hope you mean Straighten it with a Flat Iron,If You do get a Perm you won’t have Nartual hair anymore.You also have to get perms kinda ruglarly not really but you don’t want your hair to fall out after it’s been permed.What I do I put my hair in braids for like 4 or 5 weeks then get a perm and keep my hair out for 2 weeks then put it back in braids.

awe…i am still swwy…i thought it was more of a professional answer i know when i wanted to straighten my hair my stylist said no way…that it will ruin my hair and destroy my natural curls so that is why I didnt want to say something w/o knowing more about it but i didnt take into consideration that there were others that might know hair…so my apologies regardless! :(

lol but ummmmmm, i knew this guy who had a huge afro, but then it rained and his hair like absorbed the rain :O it was awesome… but anyways yeah go ask google, or yahoo answers XD or cha cha, or KGB…anyone but us lolz
