Would getting a small tattoo on the back of my neck hinder my ability to get a job as a pharmaceutical sales representative?

I have extremely long hair so covering it wouldn’t be an issue. Every tattoo I have is not visible and i’m unsure if this would be to visible or not. I in no way want to jeopardize my chances of getting a career i’m working very hard towards.

Answer #1

Depends on what the tattoo is.

Answer #2

First impression is forever. I would reccommend you wear something to cover it up because it can 50/50 your chances of getting the job because people think oh she has a tattoo must have been in the slammer.

Answer #3

Anima Libera, writen in small ornate lettering. I’m originally from italy and it means free spirit in italian.

Answer #4

I dont think it would be a big ddeal, espically because your hair coveres it. If thats a very meaningful thing to you (which it seems to be so) then i would say go for it.

Answer #5

I have hair down to my waist so i’ll have no problem covering it. By the time i’m able to get this career i’ll have been in schooling for 6 years, at a university for that matter, so i highly doubt there first instinct will be oh no this woman has been locked up.

Answer #6

Prison tats are usually only blue. Get a couple of colors in your tat and it should never be mistaken for a prison tat.
