What does skin poisoning and skin cancer look like?
after i was out in the sun i have big red patches on my chest and arms, they were the ones affected by the sun the most, and they itch and everything. does anyone know what it is?
Sun poison can look like a really bad sun burn, and it will probably be puffy and have a blistered look to..hope that helps
Well sun poisoning rashes are red, itchy, painful and are elevated from the normal skin and is common in faired skinned people who are out in the sun to long. If you are only mildly poisoned by the sun you will receive the rash but if its sever you will get a fever, nausea and dizziness. There is a possibility you got the sun poisoning rash or it could just be a bad sunburn. I doubt it is skin cancer because in most cases skin cancer is spotted by an elevated mole that is discolored, larger than a mm, or not symmetrical.
you can get some baking soda wet so it forms a paste and put it on the rashes and it should reduce the itching.
People always say you should go to a doctor if you find any new marks on your body that weren’t there before. If you’re worried about something you should probably get it looked at =)
