Skin damage from makeup

I’ve been wearing makeup for a long time now and when I’m not wearing it I looks like I’m really sick or really tired. I thought it was just my skin until recently my friend started wearing makeup and I noticed her skin looked the same without it and I know her skin wasn’t like that before. Does makeup damage your skin that much, that fast? Is there anything I can do to get my skin natural again so I don’t have to rely on makeup?

use a different kind of makeup and if you havnt already, get tested to see if you are allergic to the makeup you are wearing. wash your makeup off every night and put face lotion on that will help with the dryness.

Make sure you wash it every night and day using a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Try switching makeup as well. I have found that bareminerals is amazing but all skin is different. You need to experiment to find which makeup works best for you and your skin. <3

you know, now that I think of it, same thing with me. it might be because you are so used to looking at yourself with makeup and when its gone you look sicker and tired because youre used to looking fresh and bright with it, all I can suggest is washing your face, it makes your face look like it has colour and look natural again
