How much does a well-skilled photographer make?

I ask this because I want to know what to expect when I go into this in college. I know that’s a subject they will teach us about while on our way to mastering that field.

How much does a skilled photographer make a month? If anyone knows.

It depends on if you plan to be a contract photographer, work for a magazine or newspaper, or go freelance. From what you’re stating, it sounds like you want to be freelance, and your income is solely dependent on your saleability and how good you are - people pay thousands of dollars for wedding photographers (think about it - getting $3000 for working one day)
