I am right in the middle of the range of medium and large, about half an inch favoring a large, but the hat comes in a S/M, or a L/XL. Would it be better for it to be a little loose or possibly too tight?
I would think a little too tight is better, as they usually stretch. A hat that's too big won't sit properly on your head.
