what makes this site different from google?

Lol! There are SEVERAL differences. There main one is on here, you actually get real, human answers and advice. Also, this is a social networking site not a search engine, we have a community here, with friends…

People give direct responses. Google takes you to a site that may or may not provide the answer to your question. Google relies on sites such as these. Without other sites, google would not exist. The same is not true of this site.

You have real actual pole you can talk to a relate to and get help from where as if you google something youre going to have to search through different sites and things for answers and wont be able to get personal experience stories and such.

Pole? People**

Here people give good advice based on personal experience and sometimes even their profession. Other people can back up those answers with more information. Most people here try to answer your questions almost instantly. Whereas Google, you have to go through several sites to find a little information, and sometimes go to another site to build up more information. You can set “Status Updates” and even post pictures. This site also gives members the ability to create a “How To”. Here you can see personal profiles, send private messages, and follow people. I kind of consider this site my main source of information. For me this site is a combination of many other sites (ex. Facebook, Encyclopedia, Twitter, ect.)

FA is like having a conversation with other users, Google is like an electronic library- you need information and choose the sites (books) that might provide that information. In either case it’s ‘reader beware’ but with the advantage that on FA there is usually someone who will discredit obvious ‘junk’ answers.

Here you get actual responses from real expiriance from people, also you get many points of view.
