my younger sister mon hates doing stuf with me an we are like complete opposites any advice on how I can get her to be more like me
She’s probably wondering, “How can I make her more like me?” I agree with Stephanie987, you both need to be who you are, and sometimes make some compromises if you really want to do things together. You’re the older “wiser” sister, you go first. Be patient. If it doesn’t work, don’t push it. But I bet you get surprised. And remember, opposites don’t attract, but they can compliment each other, so maybe you can find something to do together where each of you contributes a different kind of skill. Lordy, I sound like my mother!
You can make someone be like you, even if it’s a younger sibling. You have to let her be her, she deserves to be her own person and you should accept that. My sister and I are completely opposite but we’ve grown to accept those differences and get along quite well now that we’re adults.
If she doesn’t want to do things with you then offer to do something SHE likes to do for a change every now and then.
