What is the significance of the Piano from F.A.O Schwarz in the movie starring Tom Hanks ("Big")?

I have an AP English project where i must choose a landmark in NYC and the landmark must be in some movie. I chose F.A.O Schwarz and i found out that the famous piano there was in the movie, however i can’t find the answer to what was the point of it being in the movie. If anyone has watched/understand the movie…. pleaseeee HELP!!!

Movie had 2 points. the first being you shouldn’t rush growing up. The second, which includes the piano is that no matter old you get you still have a childish side which you should have fun with. If you watch the movie you’ll notice that all of the adults start out as very rigid. For example: they only listen to news radio. Through the tom Hanks character they learn to loosen up and experience the fun in life. During the piano scene Tom and his new boss bounce on the keys, working in unison, to not only their enjoyment but to the enjoyment of others. Just for the fun of it!
