Can you sign up for a debit card online or does it have to be done at the bank?

I believe if you have a bank account at a certain bank, and they have online banking… you can get a debit card online from their website.

you can get a debit card at WAL MART simply go to the customer service desk and purchase one for 3 bucks- youc an load it there and once you activate it you can use the purchased on until you receive a personalized card in the mail- pretty simple and you don’t need any accounts. i use these walmart cards for online shopping- i usually load them up and when they are done i get another one when i need to. if someone gets that card number it is not that traumatic because i usually only have a few bucks left on them at any one time.

if you keep it i believe they charge 3 bucks a month to keep it loaded.

You can do everything online, once you have the relevant identification. In other words, you need to be a citizen of the said banking country.

It depends on which bank your with and what guidelines they have. most banks, you have to go in store. hope this helps
