Showing opinion w/o using I or me

How can I state my opinion without saying “I” or “my” . For history I have to say who I think shot first in the battle of lexington and show evidence form some source.. Also is starting with “evidence shows that…” stating my opinnion or not..(plesase help its due tomorrow

well, it wouldn’t directly be “showing opinion” but you could sort of make your piece have a bias to it… just point out the facts from different sources which support your side of the argument, or show why statistics which support the other side are likely to be incorrect, or less plausible. you’d have to make the bias pretty obvious if the piece is meant to be opinionated, but that’s one way of doing it without using I/me. hope that helps… good luck with the paper. :)

Just ask somebody who agrees with you and quote them, then make commentary on it.
