Should my boyfriend and I go to the same college?
my boyfriend and I have been dating for three years. I am a freshman in college who is also accepted into my boyfriends college. should i transfer?
Again, why? So your life can revolve around your boyfriend? If you only want to transfer schools to be with your boyfriend, its a bad idea. Its OK to be at different colleges. In fact, its better. I have known people who transferred just to be with their partner, and they are no longer together. If your love is strong, and true, it will survive anything. If not, then it wasnt meant to be!
Why? If your college is superior to your boyfriend’s college, I hope you have a good reason for transferring other than to be in close proximity with your boyfriend at all times.
Think about how awkward it will be when you break up. Now you’ll have to avoid him on campus day and night when you could’ve stayed at your current college and be happy.
