Should I wait?

Here’s the story: I like a boy ♥, we’ll call him Jim. Jim & I have been friends for a long time and get along purty good, but the bummer is: he’s got a girlfriend and I like his girlfriend as a person as much as I want to dislike her, but she’s really sweet. Should I wait for them to break-up and then try him out or move on right now? If they DO breakup do I want to get in a relationship with him and spoil our friendship? I think I’m basically too mature for any guy in my grade including Jim so should I wait until I get older to try and look for somebody more…I don’t know…down-to-earth and not all about showing off and looking cool like all guys are lately? :/

dont wait. if he has a girlfriend, why bother what happens if they dont break up until 5 months from now thats pretty much wasting your time on one guy for that long when you couldve gotten another guy and when they breakup, im pretty sure he wouldnt want to go out with another girl that soon

Personally I think going after someone else’s boyfriend is skanky. It makes you look bad and gives people the wrong impression. How would you like it if someone went after your man? You would be pissed right? You said the girl was nice, so give her the same respect you would want, and back off.
