Should I leave him?

I am in a 3 year relationship. I love him to bits but I dont think its working out. I am 21 and he is 26, I work and he doesnt and all he does all day every day is sit and play computer games, and I mean all day. Halo odst was released a few days ago and he has already completed it that is how bad he is. He wakes me up and stupid times in the morning shouting at the tv when I have work in a few hours and we never spend any time together. We never go out. I feel like I am missing something and I dont know what to do I dont want to leave him but why should I stay?? He never cleans, never cooks and never feeds or cleans our pets. What do you suggest?

Answer #1

I think you should tell him you need a break, and just stop talking to him for a week or two, if he comes to you saying he misses you and wants to work things out then give him the chance to. if he doesnt try to get you back and attempt to change, leave him. I understand you love him, but do you really want to put up with that for the rest of your life..?

Answer #2

Loving someone isn’t really a good reason to STAY with them, especially in your case. Your feelings aside, HE certainly isn’t very respectful of YOU. He’s clearly taking you (and your living conditions) for granted.

Answer #3

I have tried talking to him but he wont come off his computer long enough to chat properly, there have been times where I have come close to launching his console. I spose he is a waste of space lol, but I still love him im just so confused.

Answer #4

talk to him. calmly though;do not criticize. you two have been in a relationship for three years, dont end it because of this.this is something that can be solved/changed. just explain to him where your coming from and that you need to be provided for too. hope I helped!

Answer #5

Your boyfriend is what I like to call a ‘’WASTE OF SPACE’’

He’s a lazy, unmotivated freeloader… and yes… you should leave him. Actually, you should kick HIM OUT.

Answer #6

I like the idea of a break actually, see how he manages without me, no one to clean up after him lol.
