Should I get my hair cut?

I’ve been growing my hair for sooo long, but the problem is, I’ve not had it trimmed or anything since about february, and in that space of time I’ve dyed my hair a hell of a lot of times, straightened it almost every day and blow dried the hell out of it.

But now it’s quite long but it has so many split ends. It’s extremelly damaged at the ends and they generally are bone dry within 5 minutes of coming out the shower. Is my best bet to get them all cut off? I have lots of layers in my hair and I’d need all those cutting too if that’s the case.

I’m not too bothered about getting it cut if I have to, but if I do, is there anything the hairdressing salon might have that can help dry, damaged hair? I really do not want to have to get my hair shoulder length and I’d rather get some conditioner which could restore it’s moisture instead or something, but I’ve never been able to find anything that actually works…

I’d say at least trim the ends. Maybe the salon can recomend something to condition your hair since it’s dammaged big time. If you want your hair cut, I’d also go for layers. I love getting layers.

hmm ihtnk that you should definily trim it and ounce you have it trimmed you can figure if you want it a lotle shorter try layers there so pretty. I have a bob cutt right now & so far im not tired of it (yet) I get tons of compliments.

You defiantely need to get your hair cut becuase you are damaging your hair big time!!! If you go into the salon and have a conditioning treatment or an oil treatment that will help the dryness of the hair. Get it cut regular. You don’t need to have it all cut off, just the dead bits xx

well;; cutting it seems like a logical solution. but if you would like another choice: I use– pantene pro-v ice shine brillo glacial

it smells so great; and works wonders on your hair. I have dry thick hair and this makes it so shiney and smooth. its absolutely wonderful. <3

Don’t cut your hair you will regret it!! I had lush long hair once and cut it into a bob now I wish I ha long hair again!! I cut it so that it would be healthy because o all my split ends but now I’ve got split agains again so it doesnt really help!!=)
