Should a write a letter to convince my parents???

I really want a new pet but find it hard to convince my parents because they wont listen to me and we end up having an arguement. Do you think its a good idea to write them a note or letter explaining it all or will they probably be mad for it and still say definetely no and not listen to me??? Anyone got experience of convincing a parent to let you have something Sucessfully??? Thanx x

^ and who says her parents will be so cool with it? Really, its just endangering the pet even more. Do you realise how many shelters are full and how many animals have to be killed because they’re unwanted and abandoned?

just bring it home I got a teacup yorkie I asked my mom she said no so I brought it home and I still have him his names gizmo he looks like a cute lil gremlin

well hon if you argue with them, you give them the idea that you’re too imature to handle a pet. Try to avoid conflict if you can, and calmly explain to them why you beleive you can handle a new pet.

and if they object, be patient. and think it out your self. Is it REALLY, in the best interests of you AND the pet, good to take on the responsibilities of having a new pet? Pets are a lot of work…even fish, hamsters, and seemingly low-maintenence animals! Would you and your family be able to afford to meet the needs of a new pet? Think it out very well!
