Short or long prom dress?

I don’t know wether to get a short or long dress for prom. Im 5’5 and average weight. People say that either would look good on me, but which is better? Short or long?

long, I find them to be more fancy and just really classy. but try both styles on and just go with the one you like.

either one will be fine but you dont want it too long, which isnt practical or too short, which is considered a bit slutty (like a minidress) both those arnt dresses you would wear to a formal try something that ends around your knee area or just above your knee

umm I prefer for parties short dresses but for proms long dresses are like wOoOoOoW you CAN WEAR A LONG WHITE DRESS WITH A SPLIT you LOOK AMAZING HOPE I HELPED
