Ok so some kid from my school shot a girl from another school last sunday and now kids from that school are threatening to randomly shoot kids at my school so there are cops all over campus and all sorts of medal detecters and all sorts of crap.
Do you guys think this is just a stupid kid being stupid? because I kinda do.
But then again im kinda nervous because all sorts of alarms were going off today...I don't know
It is always important to take thses things seriously. It is a super pain to deal with additional security at school. But, having ways of preventing weapons from getting into school also dampens kids ideas of bringing them. Its no big deal to put a weapon in your pocket and walk into a building when no one is going to stop you, but knowing that people will be watching for it and checking your things changes that. Now you will need planning, cunning, and forthought. Not to mention the consequences involved. Now it has become a great deal of work. But, If the dectors are going off, that is a good thing, it means they are working. Don't let it worry you. Who knows why people make the choices they do? Focus on the ones you make, and trust your school to make the right choices for the students.
maybe, but maybe not not every kid with a gun is just out to stupidly kill someome people a lot of the kids are actually depressed, hate there life, want to die and want to kill other people eithere because they got in the way, there were eman to them in school, they were picked at random, they didnt like them ect so there are some depressed kids who actually do want to kill people and plan to and because were you are its incrediblly easy for anyone to get a gun, that complicates everything even more
its not really a joke. but if they do start shooting people at your school, thats just mean, after all the boy who shot someone is probably getting what he deserves and no one else at your school done anything. just dont slag off any of that school just in case, and be happy the school is looking after you. x
would it realy be so hard to change the constitution I realise its an important part in american history but times have changed sine the 1700s I disagree if guns were banned kids would find it very difficult to get guns
if a kid really did shoot someone, then I wouldn't think it's a joke. people are horrible now and there's no trusting no one.. who knows what would happen if these cops weren't around.. be glad they are.
Yeah it might be some bored kid or something but at least the administrators are trying to keep you guys safe.
like I said ban guns didnt take long for another random shooting did it is it realy worth it
