Shoes w/Suit

I have a suit that has a red jacket and the skirt is red with white polka dots. My question is: Can I wear black shoes with the suit?

I would definatly go with black shoes. White shoes would make the outfit look even more matchy and over the top.

Um, I’m sure it is a very nice suit… black shoes would put the visual emphasis on your attire, while white shoes for example would emphasize your legs and feet too.
