I HAVE A FEMALE AND MALE WITH THE FEMALE BEING THE OLDEST AND NOW SHE’S IN HEAT BUT THE MALE CAN’T SEEM TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO, WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP HIM OUT?

Shih tzu’s average 3.4 puppies per litter from a breedable dog in her lifetime. The shih tzu does not carry that many puppies compared to most other breeds including the toy breeds.

I have a shih tzu she is 1 years old and has a litter of 7 puppies I was told by my vet that the average sized litter for a shih tzu is 4-5 puppies. I think all dogs are different. there is nothing wrong if they have 3 pups or 7 pups it just depends on your dog.
