How could I make a T-Shirt design from scratch?

something similar to this: http://funadvice.com/r/3k867n0rqv It’s for the same band. I have until the end of the month to create it. I’m advanced at GIMP, know how to work Inkscape and I have Photoshop but I suck at it. I’ve never tried making this kind of graphic before though

use a t-shirt tranfer… can get them in packs from supermarkets. design it on the computer and print it onto the transfer paper.. then iron it onto the t-shirt.. SIMPLES :) x

sorry I’m not sure! I made a sickkk t-shirt design for my graphics gsce coursework.. I got an image off google. used the tool on microsoft word to make an area go ‘see through’ and then I used paint fill areas with colour again.. then added text on top and messed with the colours… not a very good descpition here! Sorry! But it did look good if I say so myself!! I’ll try find a picture. Hope this makes kinda sense, I’m sorry it isnt very clear to read however :( I’m no whizz at paintshop or anything, but I managed it using standead programmes like paint etc. Good luck!! Post a picture once it’s done my dear :)) x x

I will be honest here…I have never used photoshop because it was too complicating for me to figure out nor am I a graphics designer but I did create many labels, business cards & logo’s using a combo of things!

I had this program called Photo impact…. http://funadvice.com/r/3k86r919rf

Its so much easier then photoshop…and you can create absolutely anything…I cant imagine using any other program for creating anything I want on this program. When I created things I also used Google to find pics I wanted & was able to manipulate the stuff I wanted by editing it with Photo Impact…

Hope this helped hun!
