"Shattered" Cartilage??

Haha. I have yet anothhherrr cartilage piercing question!

Okie!

When everyone is saying a gun can “shatter” your cartilage what EXACTLY do they mean.. like shatter shatter (as in like.. glass shattered) or just like a infection that heals (over a looong period of time)

Thanks! (Once again)

Shatter means break into very small pieces… It dosen’t happen often but it can & then it messes up the entire way your ear looks…

Cartliage is hard and if too much pressure is done and depending on where it is increases the risk.

If they say infection they mean infection…

If the piercer is a professional, they should know what they’re doing and you won’t have anything to worry about. They’ll be able to figure out what to use for each particular piercing. They’ll be able to do it RIGHT, without causing any serious damage.

I’ve never heard of it however the gun is a horrible peice of crap the people at a salon and mall who use are are not profesional there inexpirienced and unqualified there not real peircers they have no training, no idea of what can go wrong and were not to peirce and the gun is full of germs from other peoples blood because they cant sterilize it real peircers have been trying to get it banned for years if you want a profesional peircing you get it dont with a surgical steel needle
