Sexual Depression

My boyfriend and I havent had sex yet but when we engage in forplay or we preform oral on eachother I always get kinda depressed after. I get the same way after I masterbate. I dont know why I get this way. Before, im usually really into it but as soon as the deed is done I just feel bad after, Im not a virgin but I do spend a lot of time with a guy before I make the decision towards sexual activities. We’ve been together for about 5months and, I really do care about him and look at sex as a way to express ones feelings towards eachother but im not sure I can move on to the next step if I dont understand why I get down on myself in the first place. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

Only you can know why you get depressed. What I suggest is you start examining your thoughts… Because I know you feel bad (there’s bad emotions), but you’re also thinking about something… So, start looking at those thoughts… You may have been brought up, parents, religion, culture to believe sex is dirty, shameful, sex outside marriage is wrong, associate sex with something bad, I mean it could have happened for several different reasons, but when you start to examine those thoughts, you can start working on them… It may be something deep rooted, it may be something from your past that your repressed… If things dont get better, you should consider talking to a counselor or therapist who can work with you on this… And you’re right, sex is something that should be emotionally and physically pleasurable, and you dont want to go through your life with those feelings…

Maybe since your not a virgin you don’t feel as committed towards the guy?
