I hate sexist people. I don't hate no one in particular, but I hate people when they are sexist. All my friends & family know that.. so when I dated this guy, he always use to call me woman, or when I'm at parties or at friends houses.. they always snap their fingers & say " WOMEN!, get in that kitchen " OR My uncle says, its bad luck to bring a woman fishing.. therefore he never takes me.. They always say jokes like .. How many men does it take to mop a floor.. none, its a womans job. When my friend asks me to get him a beer in the fridge, he doesn't take it out of my hand, and stared at me & said, you should of known to open it before you pass it to me woman. I know their joking, but it makes me so frustrated. I've heard them all! I just want to hear your opinion on sexist people.
Do you also think it's sexist to open a door for a girl, or buy her flowers?? Do you wear make up? Why? To make your self appealing for the opposite sex?
I know that calling someone "women" is derogatory but there are different kinds of sexism, some times it's a result of a different era, or a warped relationship with parents, holding all women responsible for a unloving mother during development.
These days there is equality of the sexes, in a lot of countries.
I don't condone sexist pigs who watch their wife clean, cook them dinner and then make her give them a bj every night, and I do know they are still out there but I do think that sexism is no longer prevalent in todays society and not an issue of to much worry, there are much more important things out there to worry about.
Well all I can say is ask them nicely to stop saying "sexist" things when there around you and if they continue if it really bothers you that much tell them your ganan quit talking to them if the keep saying things like that. hope I helpt.
