I agree, if it were love, and you are sure that both of you are ready, and that he wouldnt leave you afterwards, then it could stregnthen you. However, I have known too many relationships where after they have sex, their relationship becomes purely physical and then they break up

It could go either way, depending on each individual relationship. If you are sure this is love, then it may well strengthen it. If you're feeling pressured to have sex, then it may well end the relationship.
Go with your gut feelings...do what is best for YOU, and not what may seem best for him.

I would say, if you do chose to do it, amke sure you guys go out lots too, and spend lots of time doing other things too instead of always just going back to the bedroom. I mean youve done it for so long already anwyays :}
