I’ve heard that all women should examine their breasts once a month starting in their teens. anyone know how to do this???

I think my gyno told me to check myself every time in the shower, but I could be wrong. Once a month seems okay. You’re supposed to raise your arm [of the same side of the breast your feeling] and then prod around and feel for lumps, and repeat on the other side, raising your other arm.

Iyou’re soppusoed to just sort of ‘feel’ them, and look for lumps. if you find one it could just be like a water- sist (have no idea of how to spell that word!) or a cancer-tumor. My mom has just finished cancer treatment from breatcancer. And she was really lucky, cause she discovered it early, because she checked herself every month. Ishe was found out a year ago, but if she had found out now it would be way more serious.

Thank God for mom being clever enough to cher herself! And it’s really good that you’re concerned, because breastcancer is almost common

(right after my mom was diagnozed, like a month or so, her bestfriend found out she had breascancer too)

Anyway :) my advice wasnæt that much help, but I hope it wasn’t for nothing :):)
