I always thought that security guards should be athletic and strong, but most security guard are old retired guys and in other cases fat guys or small women that anybody can beat no offense sorry. Sometimes security guards are watching movies in theri computers, sitting in their chairs it looks like a very easy job. What do you think? please tell me thank you.
I was a security guard for about six months in Oregon..:pretty much anybody can be so long as you pass the tests, etc. It as with Pinkerton, which is one of the largest private security companies in the states.
Here in Canada I think you have to be bondable (So you can't have a serious criminal record) and you have to get a licence so you need to pass a test. I don't think there is any physical requirements.
you usually need a license (in the UK anyway) called an SIA license. You have to pay for a course.
I don't think people with a bad background can b a security guard
I don't think age or physical fitness has anything to do with it
