I live in Ontario, 30 minutes away from Quebec. I want to attend their high school (to be with my best friend) but have no idea how to transport myself there and back everyday. Also, my parents aren't willing to drive me. HELP
If you wanna go to a school outside of your district you HAVE to find your own transportation because since you don't pay taxes in that county you are not allowed to ride a bus period, even to go to your friends house. You really just need to talk to your parents and see if they are willing to meet you in the middle. I almost went to a school out of my district last year but because of the transportation issue I could not. Also I know where I live if you wanna go to a school not in your district you have to send in an application by April and get accepted. If I where you, I would just try again next year and be more prepared, it's NOT as easy as going up to the school and getting inrolled.
I want to point out though, that the answer by harleythecreator doesn't quite qualify here in Canada - you need to register to the school, but you don't have to be "accepted" unless the school is over capacity.
