Answer #7

If you have a regular 28 day cycle, you are generally fertile 2 weeks before your period starts. The fertile period can last about a week. The safest time, therefore, to have unprotected sex, is the week before your period and the week after. But of course it goes without saying that there are no guarantees. Your chances of getting pregnant during these “safe” times are just lower, but not zero.

Unprotected sex you shouldn’t have. But there are some steps you can take in order not to be afraid of unprotected sex. You could take your bf/gf to a planning center where you can find advice on sex life, you can have some tests, so that you know you are healthy. We are talking about a long term relationship. In an one night stand, always use condom.
