Sacrifice and Love.

Hi my name is mike and I just joined the united states navy I’m 19 years old and living 1300 miles from my best friend Stephanie. and I’ve got another one of those best friend questions. I’ve been away from home now and her now for 6 months. about a month ago we were having trouble just talking because we missed each other so much. and one of our nights of talking we got really frustrated about this and she told me every feeling that shes ever had for me. and I hadn’t thought that this would come true ever. shes always had a boyfriend and always been with someone but I’ve been by her side with everything for 3 years and now were in love and it just seems really hard to have something when were so far away. we’ve talked about everything you can possible talk about and I’m really nervous about going home and seeing her she means the world to me and knows it. she says that when I come home and spend a week with her that that will determine our future together. we’ve never fought about anything and lately we have little fight but we just agreed to never fight again unless its absolutely necessary. I’m asking if relationships like these where best friends fall in love and want to spend the rest of our life’s together really work out? if you could help me out with this question id greatly appreciate it. thanks.
