Rubber plants

All of the leaves fell off of my rubber plant, is it dead or will it grow back?

Answer #1

Rubber trees can be quite fragile. Sometimes something as small as being near a draft or vent can make it loose its leaves.

When it has a long trunk with no leaves you can air layer it to make it a better looking albeit smaller plant.

Answer #2

rubber? I though rubber plants were fake! MY BAD! Well if it’s normal and not fake you can look up detailes and propper housing facts bout them!! All plants need fresh soil, water, and sunlight!!

Answer #3

Possibly lack of sunlight.

When rubber trees don’t get enough light they go into a winter-dormant mode and lose their leaves, and the stalk enlarges.

Give it -some- direct sunlight and it will come back, but watch out!

If you put a rubber tree in full all-day sunlight it could tripled in size (3’ to 9’) in 6-8 weeks.. they -love- sun.

You can tell if they are getting too much sun when the leaves turn bright red.

Answer #4

Water it more

Answer #5

Answer #6
