Retaliation to these mean girls

I am the kind of person who likes to be honest… I prefer everything to be black and white… Well lately these girls in my class have been annoying me and I have a tendancy to burst and say mean things back… I know that the truth can go to far and sometimes you need to watch what you say but is it wrong to retaliate back in a mean way? If I try to be nice not say anything they just attack me… Don’t get me wrong… I would ignore them its just that everything they say gets old and I want to get the point across that they are being Dumbsh*ts… How do I tell them their being stupid without being dumb like them?

If someone is calling mean names at you and you reply, that’s just stooping down to their level. If this is happening at school, which I imagine it is, than you would get in trouble as well if you say something back; whether the other person started it or not! All you can really do is ignore people when they are acting immature in that matter. You could always say, ‘I’m trying to be the mature person in the situation’, or something along those lines. You can’t say anything with insults! This just encourages bickering. If you say something rude to her, do you know what she will do? She’ll just keep saying rude words as well! What does this accomplish? Absolutely nothing. It may be hard to ignore her, but eventually anyone who is irritating you will realize that you aren’t bothered by the person and they’ll stop. (Even if you really are bothered!)

Tell them to grow up! But be sure to tell someone if it seems they might hurt you physically. It’s fine to fight back, but don’t be like them. Don’t resort to name calling or whatever. Tell them they’re being immature.

Ignorance is bliss, be the mature one and ignore them. They just want attention and will slowly move on to terrorize another kid.
