Do I have the right to request a different specialist?
my insurance covers for me but the process takes a month till they get get me a specialist. so i been waiting for a month than i was told my appointment is with a specialist that i HATE..years ago my dad was referred to him and he put my dad ear tubes when my dad asked what they were the doc yelled saying “you kidding me” and never explained also he told my friend to open her mouth when she did she sicked out her tongue and he yelled “DID I TELL you to do that..hes so freakn rude?
This is going to depend on the terms of your health insurance. I assume that your Primary Care Physician referred you to the specialist? If this is the case you could ask that your PCP refer you to a different one.
yeah my doc referred me. i asked her she said she’ll see if its a place out of their recommendation i will be billed cause it depends if the insurance approve?
