How do you replace the"Hangman" for the purpose of avoiding guilt on anyone?

By the ‘hangman’, do you mean the death penalty in general? Or death by hanging? And whose guilt,the family of the victims or the person who actually execute the convicted person?

As bad as he may feel, he is just doing his job.

I know. But there is a reason he wears a hood is to protect his identity for fear of revenge by a family member or another third party. But in any case, how do you suppose he would sleep at night? If you wanted to avoid any guilt on anyone weather it is self guilt of guilt in the eyes of a third party, How would you replace him?

Well in the US they sentence is carried out by multiple people, but only ones actions kills the convicted. This way they do not know who killed the person.
