what can i use to remove makeup?

i use a fair bit of eye makeup (eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow etc) and it takes me like half a hour to get it all off. any quicker ways of getting it all off?

Answer #1

Makeup remover? Or warm water works too (in the shower maybe).

Answer #2

I have to wear heaps of makeup too, and I just jump in the shower and shove my face under the water and rub-a-dub-dub it clean.

Answer #3

a little bit of baby oil, i wouldn’t recommend it if you have oily skin though since it will make it a little bit oily.

Answer #4

alcohol works. like anything that can go on your face with alcohol works. or warm soapy water works, but rub gently so your skin doesnt get irritated.

Answer #5

whipes . makeup remover . warm water . soap . baby oil .

Answer #18
  1. A good eye-makeup remover that works with waterproof mascara. You can find them at Target, WalMart, or any other drug-store. I use Ponds Cold Cream. It’s the best. But wipes that are for makeup removal work great.
  2. Olive Oil. Put a little on a cotton ball and wipe it away. Just make sure to wash your face real good when your done. Actually, baby oil will work also.
  3. Hot water. Put your face over a bowl of hot water (not too hot!) and then wipe away the makeup with a towel or tissue. This works good because the steam helps.
  4. Lotion. A little lotion on a tissue does wonders. Just rub gently and it’s gone. Wash your face afterwards to keep your pores clean.
  5. Baby wipes. These are a little gentle, so only use these when you have on light makeup. They work good though, and won’t give you bad acne.
Answer #19

Baby wipes,a towal with warm water.

Answer #20

BABY OIL WORKS OR LOTION

Answer #21

If you’re asking because you’re trying to avoid make-up removers and such, then use warm water and if that doesn’t remove it all, in the past I’ve used some lotion (face lotion preferably) and a tissue or towel.

Answer #22

baby oil. its way better for your skin too.

Answer #23

But if you’re asking for a recommendation for make-up removers, here is what I recommend in the order it’s listed (1 being the best)

  1. Lancome Effacil gentle eye makeup remover (really gets everything off so quickly)
  2. MAC makeup remover wipes
  3. Sephora’s makeup removing wipes
Answer #24

Makeup remover, a bit of cooking oil, or a bit of potato peel!

Answer #25
