I've been bothered with sleeping disorders since I was a child, and there's not one single thing I have not tried! What I do now (during summer) is that I walk up to a little (tiny,, no more than 30 yards across) lake, just a 10 minute walk from where I live, and I swim for no more than 5 minutes, walk slowly home, and goes to bed. (Summer in Norway never gets really dark). That really helps me sometimes. BUT, I understand that not everyone have that "luxury" right outside their bedroom window, but maybe just some fresh air would help? AND, it is also possible that your body just don't need any more sleep, and in those cases, you should not stay in bed just because it's night. You have to sort of have your bed "off limit" for anything else than sleeping, so your body knows that "when I'm here, I'm supposed to sleep". (And of course some other things one might do in bed) :P You are young, so I won't advice you to have sex, but mastrubation also takes stress and tense feelings out of your body
But you know; don't watch TV in bed, have food in bed, bring your laptop or whatever. These are all advices I've been given by doctors, sleep experts and people like that. The picture is from where I find my peace, swimming in the summernight :)
tell the btch to start working normally,, or u can tire ur body out with running, swimming, full body exercises really, and drink lots of water. water detoxifies ur body and allows it to rest instead of spending extra time attempting to purify ur system without enough water. OH, and sometimes if i reaaallly cant fall asleep i take a cap of nyquill, that sht knocks me out quick haha
yo do have a point there sirrr, but im a wrestler so its more of them working there assess off and not eating to much, but just enough for they body to contiou to keep going without passing out, but hey who am i to say, im only 5'7 wight 143, bench 365, curl 180, and in the army infantry
What happens if you stay up all night? Do you feel tired the next day, would you take a nap? Do you drink caffeine, or have a lot of sugar during the day, do you do any kind of exercise, or are you a lazy bum like me? :P I know a few methods, but I don't know enough to really help yet.
First check any of your HAVE TO DO LIST. Be discipline, off TV, off PC and get on bed. Grab a book, start reading. Or take a banana and warm tea. Those two contain relaxing herb that will take you to a deep sleep. Fresh morning is awaiting.
Consistency in the way you sleep...if you keep doing the same thing then your going to get the same results if you don't like the way things are the change what your doing a start something new otherwise you'll repeat over and over again
Well u cud try melatonin pills b4 u go to bed at night, take one at a time and take them for like a week, it worked for me and it was doctor suggested, and the pills I have suggested are all natural and non addictive
What i do is i start waking up super early like 7 a.m (thats early for me lol).. and dont take naps at all during the day.. i do homework, clean, workout, night school.. ... and by 10 i'm crashed out...

What I like to do is work my butt off during the day, and most of the time by 9 I want to go to bed, unless I have a project to finish.
