Do you think I should get a regular nose piercing or a septum?

I’m not the biggest fan of septum piercings. Really suits some people though.. so. Guess it depends. It doesn’t hurt that much as long as they get it in the right place, so there’s a plus. But I think normal nose piercings with studs are always really cute. :)

Nose piercing!

Septum piercings tend to take a little bit longer to heal and are a little more painful then a nose piercing, but looking at your pic I think either would suit your face.

I’ve had both, and I can tell you that neither are ‘easy’ piercings. Septum was by far the most painful or all of the piercings I have had, and it got irritated every time I had a cold/runny nose (I got mine done in winter which probably wasn’t the best idea…) It ended up closing up when I had to take it out after having an infection the following winter. It was just complication after complication every time I got a runny nose. My normal nose piercing if by far my favorite :) I love it, and even though I went through a lot of drama after having just got it done - it got infected too because I got it done when I was in school and my headmistress always made me take it out.

- All in all, I think, if you want both, to start with a regular one and then once that’s healed, get septum. If you only want one, then I’d go for the normal one because i like it better and it is less hassle than septum. But you have to go for the one you’ll appreciate more.
